Hey guys, since the all kinds of crazy statement clutches are getting so popular I thought it might be cool to show you how you can make your own funky accessory. I’ve created this tutorial for my latest collaboration with How.Do, a creative platform for capturing & discovering DIY micro guides. It’s free iPhone app allows DIY lifestyle trendsetters like me 😉 access to a growing community where we can share our creative work in form of beautiful step-by-step format—a combination of image and voice recording.
To celebrate the Chinese New Year and to honor this year’s animal—the Horse, How.Do brought together top DIY blogging darlings including the brilliant frankie magazine, P.S.- I Made This and top Etsy designers to capture horse-themed tutorials. All projects will be highlighted on how.do/yearofthehorse leading up to January 31st.
You only need one side of the horse. |
Mark the inside lines with a needle. |
Apply glue around the zipper slit. |
If you are using leather make sure to use special leather needle |
Apply glue to hooves, tail and head, but skip the main. |
Glue it to another piece of material and sew around the edges. |
Cut it out. |
With the smallest tool on your punch pliers punch holes along the nape stitching. |
BA-BOOM! |
Come back, we love you!
