Create Art, not mess
[Upcycling of plastic bags]
“Create art, not mess” is the name of this cool environmental project sponsored by the German company AEG. In real life AEG produces all kinds of electrical equipment and has absolutely nothing to do with fashion. So why this project you ask? Here is the story. AEG developed a vacuum cleaner that presses the dust to small briquette that you can easily remove without having a nasty dust cloud. That means you can use all your plastic bags for something else. But for what? And here comes the fashionable part. AEG asked me and couple another talented DIY-Blogger to come up with a creative way to upcycle the plastic bags.
I collected all my plastic shopping bags and created this super cute tote bag that actually doesn’t even look like it’s made of 25 plastic bags. It’s beautiful, it’s practical, it’s environmentally friendly.
