This season Peplum has a huge come back in every form and fabric. With its waist-whittling effect peplum is super figure flattering. Big fall trend - leather peplum belts. They are simply beautiful and super practical. You can turn every boring outfit into a trendy elegant look. I designed a simple but sophisticated-looking peplum belt using faux leather and an old H&M belt. You can play around with the pattern and create you own peplum design, using different lengths and materials. How about a polka dot peplum belt? :)

Making of "..."

One of my friends asked me if could do Costume Design for a film he is doing with his friends for a festival. Since it was a non-commercial project, we had only little budget for the production. So we had to improvise... A lot! I can't tell what the movie is about, because the directors kept changing the script or the title every 10 min. :) I thought it's a comedy, but after the main character died, I wasn't sure anymore. :) I also had a small part in the movie. I played call girl #2. :) (Yeah! Another chance to dress up like a bimbo besides Halloween). So if the movie wins the festival I am going to be a SUPERSTAR!!!! :) I'll keep you guys posted...

Currently I am working on my new fall/winter accessory collection for my online shop. I know I am a little bit late but I was involved in so many different projects. My biggest broblem is that I have only 2 arms and no car :(. Anyway here is a little backstage diary of my design process.

Halloween 2012

"Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it!" (Cady in "Mean girls") One of my favorite quotes. :) Funny but also true. I always alternate my Halloween costumes. To dress up as a Bimbo every year is kinda boring, don't you think? Well last year I was dressed up as First Lady and a year before I went as a Pikachu. Because my last costume was pretty innocent, I've decided to go as a Vampire Saloon Bimbo this Halloween :) And of course I've made my own costume, using some stuff I already had. I used the online editing program PicMonkey to pimp my look a little and make it look more creepy and cool...
