Alternative Berlin...

Tonight I took a special free sightseeing tour in Berlin organized by the Alternative Berlin. Performed by the international guides the different tours show you another side of the city. The side you won't see as a normal tourist. The tours take you beyond the tourist destinations to the street arts, GRAFFITI culture and abandoned sites. And even it is still a tourist tour it was quite interesting for me to learn something new about the city I grew up in. So if you'r planing to visit Berlin you should totally do one of the Alternative Berlin tours. It's special, it's fun and the guides are super cute...

"Spartacus: blood and sand" is one of the gretest shows I've ever seen. I always watched in awe at the brilliance of this handsome actor that I had never seen before. I googled Andy and was so sad to see that he had been so ill and had passed away. My thoughts are with his family and friends. This is an inspiring documentary about Andy Whitfield who put the same dedication he brought to his lead role in Spartacus, into fighting cancer. Really touching. R.I.P Andy...

Like every Blogger and modern business women I spend about 8 hours every day on the internet. Most time it's all work related, but sometime I just play some stupid online games or watch "How I met your mother". And sometimes I come across really interesting and useful internet contents that are totally worth it to be shared with my readers. is a California based vintage inspired boutique with a modern touch. I really adore everything they are selling. But the special thing on this shop is their current lookbook "Dazzling Decades".  It's a time line of vintage inspired outfits - from 20s to 60s. Great inspiration source. If you want to learn more about styling and silhouette of different epochs this is a great inspiration source. 

[Style] red folklore...

One of my favorite summer dresses is actually a tunic in size xxl. My size was sold out but it looked so good so I was ready to gain some more weight just to be able to wear it :). But at the end I decided to do what I usually love to DO with oversized tops - wear it as a mini dress with a long chemise underneath. And my new DIY statement necklace  makes my folkloric look perfect even I have a bad hair day. :)

When it comes to summer jewelry it is - small and boring chains are OUT and bulky and embellished statement necklaces are IN. Every girl should have at least one good statement necklace in her coffer. This folk inspired necklace is super easy to make and it looks super cool. Besides you can give some old grandma beads a second chance to gleam...

Haunted house...

Do you like horror movies? I do! I love everything that scares the hell out me. Like this abandoned factory somewhere in Berlin. I say somewhere, because I have no idea where I was. My friend D. (I am not allowed to tell you his real name) picked me up with his yellow mofa and after 15 min driving we landed somewhere in an industrial looking area. This house is so freaking creepy. D. disappeared in the basement for about 5 minutes and I was afraid to follow him, because I didn't have a flash light. So I took pictures with my flash all the time to have some light. :) I felt like I am in a horror movie. And I swear I was hearing voices all the time. And it smelled like burnt clothes. My friend D. does horror trips like that almost every week. You can see his pictures on his flickr account.  He asked me if I want to go to an abandoned bunker next time... So I just said: Hell NO!
